Skills Development
BGHA Development Coordinator
The Brantford Girls Hockey Association is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative
guaranteed to provide all participants with an opportunity to improve upon their
fundamental hockey skills. Rob Crocock, comes to BGHA with an extensive hockey background
as a player, coach, and administrator. A graduate from York University, Rob’s degree
focused on training for sport and the biomechanics of physical activity.
Along with his knowledge, Rob brings with him a hockey training facility equipped
with a 30 x 40 ice pad, skill specific practice areas, and a 40 x 80 fully boarded
outdoor rink, all of which are sure to provide hours of fun once the cold weather
returns. This facility will significantly increase the time BGHA players spend on
the ice practicing hockey specific skills such as goaltending, skating, shooting,
and passing.
If you cannot wait for the season to start and want to work on your skills over
the summer, please contact Rob at bghatraining@live.ca
and he will be pleased to develop a summer training plan specific to your wants
and needs.
